Swap-Bot: Digital Photo Email Scavenger Hunt - July

I signed up for my first swap-bot and here are the results of my scavenger hunt.  I had lots of fun searching for the items and of course, the fact that a camera was required made it that much more enjoyable for me.

1.  Macro shot

Do you know what this is a picture of?  I think the colours make it an easy give-away.  The answer is given at the end of this post.

2.  Favourite beverage

I love to have mint leaves steeped in hot water with honey.  The tea cups come from a friend who has since passed away and so when I use them it makes me feel she is still with me.

3.  Person younger than me

Isn't she cute?  This is my daughter and her monkey, Banana.

 4.  One of my favourite restaurants 

I love to go to the Nougat Bakery in Waterloo.  This is a smaller version than the original bakery but closer to my home and the seats get great sunlight.  Do I eat the pastries?  No, of course not but I love looking.   I do, however, eat their almond rings.

5.  Something I carry

If you've ever met me then you know that this item has been dragged along with me both inside and outside the house for the last couple of years.  I think that I am permanently attached to my iPad; most used gift ever.  The other items in the carry bag are great for passing the time.

6.  Architecture I find interesting

Do you recognize this? I love the detail involved in this whimsical design.

If you look closely at the windows on the left you can see the books that are currently available.  There are two more bird house libraries in my neighbourhood and they are beautifully made but this one is far more elaborate.
